Hey Elle, I started longboarding when I was 17 while I was living in South Africa. I was progressing quickly and I surfed multiple times a week for 3 years straight. When I turned 18 I switched to way smaller boards. Started on a 8 foot till I was able to go down the line on a 5’8. It took me a while to build the strength and I still lack confidence often. Now I live in europe and I really want to take my surfing to the next level. I am a broke student yet maybe some day I get to surf with you!
