Message I live in encinitas and surf a log. I've been on my log for about 2 years now, and working on cross stepping. I've been trying out short boards occassionally and they're so much fun. I'd really like to progress down, to surf a shortboard in the winter and keep my log for the summer. I grew up as a competitive swimmer & I have no issue wiping out - I love to send it, maybe a little too much sometimes
